dc.description.abstractAgricultural sector has become a very dominant sector in Lampung Timur regency. It gives significant contribution to local economic growth. One of several approaches in order to develop agriculture is setting the primary commodities in each district. Primary commodities are set by integrating biophysics, socioeconomics, and institutional aspects. Multi-Criteria Evaluation (MCE) is one of many decision support systems that can be used to evaluate multi-criteria for land allocation. The general objective of this research is to set priority directories for regional development based on agriculture in Lampung Timur regency using MCE, and the other objectives are: (1) to evaluate food crops sub sector role in Lampung Timur District; (2) to identify primary commodities in each district in Lampung Timur; (3) to analize socio-economics fasilities hierarchy; and (4) to evaluate land suitability for primary commodities. Results showed that paddy, cassava and maize are food crop primary commodities with each land availabities are 52 714 hectares, 56 441 hectares, and 65 138 hectares. Based on LQ result and its combination with land availability allocation, Raman Utara is the largest district for paddy field followed by Labuhan Maringgai and Pasir Sakti. For cassava, Sukadana is the main district, followed by Labuhan Ratu, and Marga Tiga. The largest potential for maize is Sekampung Udik, then Marga Sekampung and Waway Karya.id
