Identifikasi lahan kritis dalam kaitannya dengan penataan ruang dan kegiatan rehabilitasi lahan di Kabupaten Sumedang

Abstract

Land degradated identification is very useful for planning activity on the planners in order to determine the priority area on land rehabilitation and area development program. The aims of this study are : (1) Identification and mapping in Sumedang District in 2000 and 2005, (2) To analyze the position of forest and land rehabilitation program in Sumedang District on degradated land level, (3) To analyze the position between regional spatial use plan of Sumedang District with degradated land level. This study use the spatial analysis method with overlay process by using Geographical Information System on thematic map and tabular data analysis supported by the ArcView GIS Version 3.3 software. The result of this study indicates that the degradated land area is increase during the last 5 years period in this case the degradated land rehabilitation program, and the area of forest and land rehabilitation should be optimized and regional spatial use design.
