dc.description.abstract | Transmigration development has been done to increase the capability and productivity of transmigration community, develop self-reliance, and perform the integrity in transmigration settlement, so economically and socio-culturally could arise and grow sustainably. One of the effort to reach that goal is by developing KTM in Transmigration Zone. The objectives of this research are to identify development potency of premier commodities, activity service center, institution characteristics, and finally give the direction of KTM development strategy. Analysis results showed that most parts of transmigration zone are suitable for agricultural commodities. Maize and paddy as food crops commodities are potential to be developed in the Eastern part of Mesuji Transmigration Zone while estate commodities like rubber and oil-palm are potential in the Western part. Activity service center could be developed in Tanjung Mas Makmur village, since it has the highest hierarchy and supported by the more relatively sustain agribusiness institution form. | id |
