dc.description.abstractThe experiment was conducted in the Poultry Division, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Bogor Agricultural University, to study the effect of various energy and protein levels on the performance of laying hens under cage and floor system. The trial was started May 18, 1972 and terminated My 18, 1973. A total of one thousand and fifty six six-month-old laying pullets of Babcock-300 finalstock obtained from P.T. Prihadi Distribution Poultry Farm, Cilember, Bogor, were used in this study. The diets employed in this study were calculated to contain 2650,2850, and 3050 kilo calories of metabolizable energy per kg with 15 and 18 percent crude protein.
