dc.description.abstract | Volume table is an information in table form that consist volume estimate type of tree from parameters itself. Arranging volume tables in private’s forest not only for inventory activities but olso for information for farmers of transaction activity. The abjective of this research are to provide information about how to arrange volume table for readers and provide estimate information of tree volume of Jati (Tectona grandis L.f) accurately for farmers especially for farmers in Regency Kulon Progo’s private forest. Sample that used in this research was 30 of falled Jati (Tectona grandis L.f) trees. This sample was divided into two, they are data for volume arrangement and data for model validation. Best model choosen considered value indicator such as R2, R2adj, F test, and value of s in model arrangenment step and the value of chi-square (x2), bias, standard error (SE), and RMSE in model validation step bassed on available equation models. The compared and analysis result to value of R2adj and chi-square (x2), showed that equation model accurately in estimating volume in Regency Kulon Progo private forest are equation of Berkhout (V=0.000442D2.229), Stoate (V=1.116+0.00000913D+ 0.00000584D2T-0.0723T), and Hohenadl-Krenn (V=0.137-0.014D+0.0013D2). | id |
