Abstract

Way Kambas National Park (TNWK) is the conservation area in the form of a national park located at Lampung Province. One of the problems experienced in TNWK is a forest fire that occurred. The fire seems to be triggered by land clearing activities conducted by community in TNWK. The fire may affect environmental condition as well as economic and social condition. The impact of fire will not only resulted in losses in the field of the environment, but also have an impact in the field of economic and social. There are two models of land preparation conducted by the District community in Rajabasa Lama, namely slash and burn technique and zero burning technique. Both land preparation with slash and burn technique and zero burning technique having its implementation each stage. According to financial assessment of cost efficiency analysis by counting Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), the results that preparation of land with zero burning technique more efficient than slash and burn technique to the value of each BCR respectively 2.45 and 2.24.
