Kajian Konsep Desain Lanskap Jalan Kolonial Kota Bogor.

Abstract

Bogor City is one of the historic sites in the European colonial era in Indonesia. One of a heritage form in that era is the landscape of colonial. The form of colonial landscape also reflected in the design of street landscape in Bogor City. Study on Design Concept of Colonial Streetscape at Bogor City aims to identify the component of street landscape whose colonial character, exploring the design concept of colonial street landscape, and composing the design concept of street landscape that having colonial character in Bogor. This research has obtained through descriptive analysis by field observation and tracing the information of history. Generally, three main components of colonial street landscape design those are the main elements of street, complementary elements, and colonial building. Complementary elements that characterizing the colonial has the feel of a classic Victorian, gothic and use of industrial materials. The third component of colonial street lanscape is a building that reflects the Dutch colonial era and The important part of it is the facade of the building.
