| dc.description.abstract | Cilongok Subdisrict is the lagerst origin centers of palm sugar production center in Banyumas. The business of making palm sugar has been carried out to the next so that the business of making palm sugar is the main livelihood of the people in the Cilongol district. During palm sugar producers in District Cilongok make palm sugar in printed form, but these efforts have not been able to provide an economic improvement for the people working on it. Therefore, the local government by cooperation with the university created a coconut sugar alternatives in the form of powder or commonly referred to as granular sugar. The objective of this research is to analyze the general costs, revenues, profits and efficiency of use of factors of production print sugar and sugar processing SEMT in order to achieve the level of economic efficiency. In detail, the objective of this research are (1) to analyze the factors that affect print sugar and granular sugar processing business; (2) to analyze the level of technical efficiency, allocative efficiency and economic efficiency of sugar printing and granural sugar processing business; (3) analyze the costs, revenues and profits from sugar printing and granural sugar processing business and sugar granular. The model used is the stochastic frontier production function is Cobb-Douglas to analyze technical efficiency, cost function dual to analyze the allocative efficiency and cost analysis and revenue processing print sugar and sugar granular. The results of the sugar processing business printing and granular sugar business showed the craftsmen sugar granural income was much larger when compared to sugar producers print, ie respectively USD 2.35 million and USD 3.42 million. This occurd because the selling price of sugar granular are much higher than the selling price of sugar print. The average selling price of sugar print only Rp 7,582.86 per kilogram, while the average selling price of sugar granular could reach Rp 12,742.86 per kilogram.
