Coleus amboinicus Lour, known as daun jinten in Indonesia, is widely used as herbal medicinal plant for increase of breast milk production, antiseptic and afrodiciac. This plant is expected to have different component appropriate with their habitat condition. The purpose of the research was to identify phytochemical component and to compare the levels of total phenolic and flavonoid compound of daun jinten, and to analyze the factors that distinguish both total component in phytochemical from soil component and temperature of growing place from daun jinten such as Tegal and Bogor. The average soil organic element from Tegal was higher. Based on phytochemical analysis, simplicia of daun jinten contained alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin, steroids, and tannin. The total content of phenolic from Tegal was 1.698 mg GAE/g simplisia and 2.009 mg GAE/g simplicia and the total content of phenolic from Bogor (2.040 mg GAE/g simplicia and 1.340 mg GAE/g simplicia). The total content of flavonoid from Tegal was 1.922 mg QE/g simplicia and 2.987 mg QE/g simplicia higher than the total content of flavonoid from Bogor (1.285 mg QE /g simplicia and 0.925 mg QE/g simplicia). Differentiation in component of soil nutrient element and climate habitat condition influenced with differentiation of levels in total phenolic and flavonoid compound daun jinten (Coleus amboinicus Lour).id
