Dinamika Penggunaan Lahan Perkebunan Sawit dan Simpanan Karbon di Kabupaten Kubu Raya dan Sanggau tahun 1990-2013

Abstract

Land use/cover change can be observed with spatial data of land use/cover from different time period. Objectives of this research were to identify land use/cover change in Kubu Raya and Sanggau District, determine dynamic of oil palm plantation, and determine carbon stock loss which was occured during 1990- 2013. During this period, land use/cover change have occured dynamically. Forest land use consistently decreased while non-forest land such as open land, shrub land, swamp shrub land, and oil palm plantation relative increased. Oil palm plantation in Kubu Raya increase from forest land (secondary swamp forest) during 1990/2009 whereas in the 2009-2013 period from non-forest land. Oil palm plantation in Sanggau dominated increase from non-forest land. Highest carbon stock loss occured during 2006-2009 period in Kubu Raya district and during 2011-2013 period in Sanggau District.
