| dc.description.abstract | Rat is one of the important pest to human life, both in the agricultural and plantation. Various tactics have been done to control rodent, one of them used poisonous bait (rodenticide). Attractiveness of bait is necessary because rats not prefer like taste of active ingredients of rodenticide. The aims of research to investigate the consumption rate of animal protein towards rodencitide, therefore it can increase the effective control to ricefield rats and wood rats. There are four trial in this research. Ricefield rats consumed more unhulled rice. Wood rats consumed more brown rice. Wood rats consumed more insect larvae than brown rice, otherwise ricefield rats consumed more unhulled rice. The consumption of ricefield rats to insect larvae showed no difference with brodifacoum, while wood rats showed difference. Consumption of ricefield rats to insect larvae showed difference to bromadiolone, while wood rats showed no difference. | en |
