East Jakarta as one of municipality in DKI Jakarta has been rapidity developing particularly in construction sector. Incrase of human needs in terms of residentials, industries, and technologies would give negative impacts to the environment. This research was intended to map air pollutant in East Jakarta, which would provide considerations and recommendation for the goverment in developing green open space (GOS) for improving quality of public convenience. The methods used were Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) interpolation and supervised classification. The results showed that the highest concentration of pollutant in East Jakarta was Cakung Subdistrict with Total Suspended Particulate (TSP), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) concentration was showed in Cakung Sub-district, Duren Sawit, Pulagadung and Kramat Jati. Moreover, the highest concentration of Sulfur Dioxide (SO2)was showed in Cakung Subdictrict, Cipayung Sub-district, Ciracas, Kramat Jati, Pasar Rebo. Heavy metal (Pb) distribution spread evenly in wide area of East Jakarta with concentration ≤0.2 μg/Nm³, while the highest temperature surface was showed in Ciracas Sub-district. The districts that should be the first priority of developing green open space are Cakung Sub-district, Ciracas and the second priority are Sub-district Duren Sawit, Pulogadung, Cipayung, Pasar Rebo, Kramat Jati, Jatinegara, Matraman dan Makasar.
