Increased industrial activity and transportation become the sources of pollutanand potentially degrade ambient air quality. One of the effect of air quality degradation is acid rain phenomenon. Purpose of this study is to determine the concentration of air pollutants (SO2 and NO2)and its potential for acid deposition. Tangerang is one of the cities that has the potential to decrease air quality due to the many industrial areas as well as the density of the motor vehicle. Potential acid deposition in this region were analyzed using Chimere program model. The results showed concentrations of SO2 maximum is27.50 ugm-3and NO2 gases maximum is 60ugm-3. This value is far below the Indonesian National Air Quality Standard of 60 ugm-3for SO2 and 100 ugm-3for NO2 in 365ugm-3. The average of NO2dry deposition fluxes in the five observation days is 5.3525x1015 molecule cm-2 s-1 and SO2 is 3.7573 x1015 molecule cm-2 s-1. While the average value of NO2wet deposition fluxes is 0 molecule cm-2 s-1 and SO2 is 4.8553x1010moleculecm-2 s-1. Estimated pH of rain on average in the study area is4.6, that indicate acid rain.en
