The objective of this experiment was to evaluate the morphology of alginatechitosan coated microcapsule consist of anti E. coli IgG derived from bovine colostrum. Pure IgG anti E. coli were obtained from colostrum collected from cows vaccinated by polyvalent E. coli vaccine. The IgG were purified and packed in form of alginate chitosan coated microcapsule. The microcapsules were made by extruction method, using Microencapsulator with 30 and 60 minutes coating time in chitosan, respectively. Microcapsules then be evaluated by using Scanning Electron Microscope. Results of the experiment indicated that there was no significant different in the formation of microcapsules between 30 and 60 minutes coating time. The microscopic evaluation has indicated the smoother surface of microcapsules coated in 60 minutes . In conclusion, the IgG microcapsules with the 60 minutes coating time better than of those coated in 30 minutes.en
