dc.description.abstractGedong Songo temple that located in the Candi Village, Bandungan District, Semarang Regency is one of the natural tourist sites in Semarang with the largest number of visitor in 2011, reaching 164 907 people. Lack of cooperation between local government and community inflicted the income of community. The obscurity of the snacks prices also inflicted the economic leakage by IDR 832 649 983. The leakage calculations obtained by using Travel Cost Method Analysis. This study also analyzes the community income generating by using Keynesian Multiplier Method. The Keynesian Values obtained income multiplier of 2.24 means an increment of visitors expenditure by IDR 1 inflicted the income increment of communities by IDR 2.24. Another economic impact of visitor expenditure is the profits received by the owner of business unit. Further economic impact also received by local labor in the form of wages that they get from the owner of business unit. Income Multiplier Ratio Value Type 1 is 1.67. It means that an increment of business owner income by IDR 1 inflicted IDR 1.67 to increment of direct and indirect impacts (such as income of business unit owners and local labor). Value Ratio Income Multiplier Type 2 is 2.15. It means that an increment of business owner income by IDR 1 inflicted IDR 2.15 to increment of direct, indirect and induced impact (in the form of business owner income, labor income and consumption expenditures at the local community level). This study aimed to develop a tourism area by involving the local community to manage the tourist area so their income will increase. Based on the research, development of tourist areas in Gedong Songo by applying Grand Strategy based Co-Management. Comanagement strategy is a strategy that involves all stakeholders in Gedong Songo to exercise all the powers and duties so the derived strategies can be implemented in development of tourist sites Gedong Songo.en
