| dc.description.abstract | Society, which lives in forest margin area such as one in Hegarmnah Village, Cicantayan, Sukabumi, has interaction with forest. The changing lifestyle of the society threaten the existence of their traditional knowledge. This research needed to identified the diversity of plants used by forest margin society of GWUF. Data of used plant diversity were collected through semi-structured interview. Plant species was classified into 8 group of purpose, that is for medicinal purpose, food, aesthetics, fire-wood, building materials, cattle feeding, aromatic, and other purpose. Medicinal purpose plant is the most group used plants, amount of 145 species of 54 family. Herb habitus is the most used plants by a value of 36,56%.
