dc.description.abstractLarvae Tenebrio molitor (Yellow mealworm) is a destructive insects (pests) food products are known to contain high protein and amino acids. The use of yellow mealworm on human food, such as the addition to the corn snack aims to increase the value of protein and amino acids that can be well received by consumers and as a form of pest control of food products. Proximate analysis results of corn tortilla chips in the yellow mealworm supplementation on harvesting age of 13, 14 and 15 weeks was not significantly different in moisture content, mineral content and fat content of the product (P> 0.05), and significantly different levels of protein and fiber content coarse (P <0,05). That hedonic quality test showing any yellow mealworm supplementation was not significantly different in the crispness and the fracture (P> 0.05), and significantly different in color and taste savory (P <), 05). On hedonic test, the yellow mealworm supplementation was not significantly different in A panelist of the product (P> 0.05).en
