Zinc is an essential micro mineral required by ruminants which play important role in hematology profiles. The aim of this study was is to determine the effect of zinc (Zn) supplementation towards the profile of erythrocyte count, haemoglobin concentration, and haematocrit values on the Friesian Holstein calf. Nine Friesian Holstein calves between 6 – 10 months of age were used in this experiment. Calves were divided into three groups. Each group were consisted of three calves i.e with zero (control), 60 ppm and 120 ppm of Zn supplementation, respectively. Every month, blood has been collected right before and after giving Zn and continued for about three months. Blood sample were collected from jugular vein and analysed for the amount of erythrocytes, hemoglobin concentration, and the hematocrit value. Result shown that the amount of erythrocytes, hemoglobin concentration, and the hematocrit values show no differences between the groups. Supplementation of Zn 60 ppm or 120 ppm also did not show a appropriate difference towards the amount of erythrocytes, hemoglobin concentration, and the hematocrit value towards the Friesian Holstein calf (P>0,05).en
