One effort in boosting the growth of gurame on the controlled cultivation system in order to reach optimum levels, can be done through genetic enhancement. Application of Recombinant Growth Hormone from grouper kertang has been shown to increase growth in fish. In addition, the implementation of the growth hormone kertang grouper can also accelerate the growth of carp. Recombinant growth hormone can be described as a growth stimulant because it can stimulate the growth of fish.
