dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan mencari nisbah biomassa akar pohon terhadap biomassa pohon karet dan nisbah massa karbon akar pohon terhadap massa karbon pohon karet di Hutan Karet Rakyat (HKR) Desa Bungku, Provinsi Jambi. Penyusunan Root to Shoot Ratio (R/S Ratio) menggunakan metode destruktif terhadap 30 pohon karet contoh yang dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling dan 6 pohon karet untuk uji validasi keandalan. Penelitian menghasilkan R/S Ratio biomassa pohon karet, yaitu: R/S biomassa akar terhadap biomassa batang utama berkisar 0.1757 sampai 0.3335 atau rata-rata 0.2562. R/S biomassa akar terhadap biomassa pohon di atas tanah berkisar 0.1361 sampai 0.2341 atau rata-rata 0.1927. R/S biomassa akar terhadap biomassa batang bebas cabang berkisar 0.2128 sampai 0.4078 atau rata-rata 0.2988. R/S Ratio massa karbon pohon karet, yaitu: R/S massa karbon akar terhadap massa karbon batang utama berkisar 0.1141 sampai 0.2035 atau rata-rata 0.1634. R/S massa karbon akar terhadap massa karbon pohon di atas tanah berkisar 0.0946 sampai 0.1728 atau rata-rata 0.1325. dc.description.abstractThe research aimed to obtain the ratio of root biomass to rubber tree biomass and ratio of root carbon mass to the rubber tree carbon mass at community rubber forest of Bungku Village, Jambi Province. The development of the root to shoot ratio (R/S Ratio) used a destructive method, using 30 samples of rubber trees which were selected by purposive sampling method. Moreover, 6 rubber trees were used for reliability validation test. The study results of R/S ratio of rubber trees biomass were: R/S root biomass to tree main stem biomass ranged between 0.1757 and 0.3335 or average 0.2562. R/S root biomass to tree biomass above the ground ranged between 0.1361 and 0.2341 or average 0.1927. R/S root biomass to clear bole stem biomass ranged between 0.2128 and 0.4078 or average 0.2988. R/S ratio of rubber trees carbon mass was as follows: R/S root carbon mass to tree main stem carbon mass ranged between 0.1141 and 0.2035 or average 0.1634. R/S roots carbon mass to tree above the ground carbon mass ranged between 0.0946 and 0.1728 or average 0.1325. R/S root carbon mass to clear bole stem carbon mass ranged between 0.1434 and 0.2462 or average 0.1906.en
