The response of 10 cassava genotypes was studied in an experiment in which they were grown in polybag for 3 months in an acid Ultisol soil. This research was undertaken to evaluate of 10 cassava genotypes in an Ultisol soil and to identi cassava genotype that can used as source of gene that control adaptive character in this soil. This research was performed in field experiment of Bogor Agriculture Institute, on Mei until September 2001. The experimental designed used was Randomized Complete Block Designed with two factors. The first factor was 10 cassava genotypes as follows : MLG 10073(G1), MLG 10054 (G2). MLG 10114 (G3), MLG 10188 (G4), MLG 10128 (G5), MLG 10157 (G6), CMM 96025-25 (G7), CMM 95014-13a (G8). CMM 9603-190 (G9) and Sri Gading (G10). The second factor was three level of liming (0, 10 and 20 ton/ha). The fertilizer in this study were NPK (5 g/polibag) and urea (2,5 g/polibag).
