Persepsi dan Sikap Masyarakat terhadap Pengembangan Bambu di Kabupaten Pekalongan Menurut Perspektif Gender
Abstract
The Government of Pekalongan Regency is developing bamboo as one of primary Non Timber Forest Product (NTFP), to improve community welfare and conserve natural resources. The purpose of study is to analys perception and attitude of people about bamboo’s development in Pekalongan Regency. Survey has been conducted to 73 family who joint bamboo’s development programme with respondent composition of 12 male and 61 female at Kutorejo Village, Kajen District. The result of study shows that male respondent good and has while female respondent very good perception. The characteristic of number of family member significantly affect the male respondent perception and profesion, income, and bamboo’s contribution for income of female respondent perception. Beside that male respondent good and woman respondent very good attitude. The characteristic of land area owned significantly affect the male respondent attitude, while there is no factor affecting significantly in female respondent attitude.
