Pendugaan Biomassa Atas Tegakan di Hutan Rakyat Menggunakan Citra Landsat 8 (Studi Kasus di Asosiasi Petani Hutan Rakyat Wonosobo)
Abstract
Landsat 8 is a satellite used to monitor natural resources. This satellite has a panchromatic band of 15 m x 15 m, with a spatial resolution multispectral band of 30 m x 30 m, and a thermal band with a spatial resolution of 100 m x 100 m. Therefore, it requires a fusion to produce image data with a spectral resolution as well as its high spatial panchromatic image. The image fusion technique tested was the technique of Principal Component, Multiplicative and Brovey Transform. This study aimed to obtain a biomass estimation model using an image fusion technique and to produce a biomass distribution map based on the model v chosen. Biomass calculation was carried out using allometric, coefficient of BEF (Biomass Expansion Factor) and destructive method. The selection of the best model was conducted based on F-test parameter, coefficient value of determination corrected (R2 adj) and RMSE value. The research result showed that the image fusion technique did not improve the relationship between the digital number and the biomass in the field compared to the original image. Therefore, the band original image was used to estimate the biomass in the field. The selected model used as the basis for mapping the distribution of biomass class was the exponential model on the image without fusion Y = Exp 704 + 0,00533 band 2 - 0,00161 band 7 - 0,140 band 9 - 0,00104 band 10 with an R2 adj value of 16.2% and RMSE 1.37 on the VIF less than 5. The accuracy evaluation result showed that the Overall accuracy value was 47.92% and the Kappa accuracy value was 21.26% on the mapping with 3 classes.
