dc.description.abstractThe main issue of climate change was discussed by forestry companies, which caused by the increasing of green house gas emissions in the atmosphere. The carbon storage dynamics in PT. Sari Bumi Kusuma was calculated to determine the amount of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere that absorbed by the forest. The aim of this research is to create a model of carbon storage dynamics in PT. Sari Bumi Kusuma. Model development method that used in this study is the systems approach. This system approach can explain carbon storage dynamics of TPTI and TPTJ system with SILIN techniques. TPTI carbon storage is 115.49 ton/ha and TPTJ SILIN techniques carbon storage is 251.36 ton/ha. The current carbon storage potential amount in PT. Sari Bumi Kusuma is 26,493,223.51 ton of carbon. The best scenario that can increase carbon storage in PT. Sari Bumi Kusuma is by applying the TPTJ sylviculture systems with SILIN techniques. Implementation of this scenario can increase the carbon storage up to 30,064,528.63 ton of carbon.en
