dc.description.abstractIncreasing the role of educated human resource especially forestry is expected to overcome the problems of poverty and degradation of forest resources. According to data DPKHA IPB (2013), the percentage of Faculty of Forestry alumni who were graduate from 2009 to 2011, which work in forestry are 64.11% and only 2.8% who take part in developing entrepreneurship. This research aims to determine the tendency of students to take part in the Faculty of Forestry by working in government institutions, private companies, or entrepreneurship. Retrieval of data using questionnaires with respondents are students of the Faculty of Forestry IPB class of 2010 to 2012. Results showed 82% of students want to work in the forestry sector by choosing the government sector with the highest percentage of 65.26%; whereas, for the development of forestry entrepreneurs only chosen by 10.64% of respondents. The tendency of students to collaborate with forestry students, other agricultural and communities in the development of entrepreneurship is relatively high with percentage of requirement above 90%.en
