dc.description.abstractOptimal forest management was very important for Forest Management Unit (FMU) Bogor to create sustainability of economic, ecological and social. The point of this research was getting the best simulation of forest management in order to improve welfare of the environment in KPH Bogor, especially to increase in revenue in KPH Bogor. Analysis performed for the management was system approach,it used because of the complexity of the data. Forest management in KPH Bogor was travel management , forest village institutions (LMDH), resin management , timber management, non-timber forest products management and carbon trading. Analysis was done by creating a model that can represent the current forest management. The model has been created then performed various scenarios in order to get the best results. The results showed that the scenario of KPH Bogor by using a combination of KPH current management, non-timber forest products (NTFPs) and carbon trading was the best scenario.en
