dc.description.abstractDhole (Cuon alpinus) is one of the dominant predator in Baluran National Park. Spatial distribution of ajag activity was determined to find out its distribution in several types of land cover. The purpose of this research is to study the spatial distribution of ajag daily activity in SPTN I Bekol of Baluran National Park. The observed site included secondary forest, acacia plantation forest, coastal forest, shrub, evergreen, and savanna. Data on direct observation spatial of distribution were collected using concentration point in secondary forest and savanna. Strip transect method was used to collect indirect observation datas such as feces, footprints, and prey’s bones and dead bodies. Spatial distribution of dhole activities was affected by the type of land cover. Direct encounter ment found the most number of dhole in savanna compared to other land cover types. While traces of its activity were found in every type of vegetation with most percentage types found in savanna.en
