Worm is a program which duplicates and fully spreads itself to other machines. The concepts of worm which spreads itself from one machine to another was firstly introduced by John Brunner in 1975 at his science fiction book entitled The Shockwave Rider. Worm has become a deadly threat on the intenet so that some researchers using the epidemic model to study the worm spreading in computer network. In this work, the dynamic of worm transmission is formulated as a Susceptible Infectious Susceptible (SIS) model. While, the problem of the treatment cost minimization is formulated by optimal control framework and solved by Pontryagin minimum principle. The result of the numerical simulation shows the effects of the change in the rate of infection and the rate of treatment on the cost minimization efforten
