| dc.description.abstract | The WiFi signal access point in IPB Darmaga area is unevenly spread and overlap. Users have difficulties to access it. This research aims to develop a system, namely imWiFi, which can help users accessing WiFi signal in IPB Darmaga. One of the feautures provided by the system is provide the information of the WiFi signal access point distance. The distance information can be yielded by Location Based Services (LBS). LBS used in this research is the LBS services from Google Maps and application of Haversine formula. Comparison between Google Maps and Haversine formula is used to determine percentage of the distance comparison between two different algorithms. The percentage comparison distance between Google Maps and formula Haversine is 64.61% with the error value of 0.8204. The development of the system has successfully implemented three of four principal functions. Thus, 75% of overall systems was successfully developed. | en |
