| dc.description.abstract | Indonesian life tables are obtained indirectly using Coale-Demeny life table, because of the difficulty of getting data required especially the data of population mortalities. One of direct data set to be considered is the number of survival to age . In life insurance, life tables are used to determine the amount of premium to be paid by the insurance holder. This paper is intended to estimate a life table based on census data. This is done using surviving probability method, which will be done in three different approaches, i. e. smoothed Coale-Demeny life table, smoothed logit system, and the third method is the projection and accumulation approach. The resulting life tables are then compared to the life tables of BPS and concluded that both are similar. | en |
