      Abstract
Photosynthesis is a process to produce useful carbohydrates for nutritional reserve, carbon structure, energy and plant metabolisme processes in plant growth. Factor affecting photosynthesis are the supply of CO2, H2O, nutrients and stomata opening mechanism. Meanwhile, light energy and temperature are external factors that support photosynthesis. To improve the result of photosynthesis process, the supplies of CO2,H2O, and nutrients are also increased as well. The opening stomata widely and in longer time are affected by vibration and duration of sun exposure. One of functions of carbohydrates as product of photosynthesis process is used to support carbon structure, which is important for plant growth and development. This study was aimed to asses the effectiveness of foliar fertilizers and the application of sonic bloom technology to increase the growth of mahogany seedlings. Research design in this experiment was completely randomized factorial design. The result of this research showed that sonic bloom (S1) and 10 gram/liter of foliar fertilizers A or gandasil B (P2) produced the best quality seedling with index seedling value 30 and 24 points, while the interaction of sonic bloom and 5 gram/liter of leave fertilizers A (S1P1) produced quality seedling in the best value with seedling index value 29 points, followed by SIP2 interaction with the seedling index value 23 points.
