South Jakarta is one of the densely populated municipality in DKI Jakarta. Increased urbanization causes degraded lands green space that will lead to environmental degradation such as air pollution and rising temperatures. Urban forest is one of green space that is capable of restoring the balance and healthy urban environment. Criteria in the selection of priority areas using the variable surface temperature and air pollutants and classified by three classes of priority. Urban forest priority location is the availability of green space that goes into the priority class . The results of this study indicate priority areas in the first class of 1269.86 ha ( 8.72 % ) , the second class of 7076.55 ha ( 48.61 % ) and the third class of 6210.03 ha ( 42.66 % ) . The availability of green space that was in the first priority class of 77.96 Ha , the second class of 327.57 Ha and class of 983.61 Ha . Total green space can not be found to reach 10 % of the South Jakarta areas because land limitation and convertion land use.
