Forest of Papua are very broad potential as carbon sink. However, the research about estimates carbon storage has not been done in Papua. This research aims to quantify the potential for above ground carbon sequestration in IUPHHK-HA PT. Wapoga Mutiara Timber Unit II (WMT-II) Papua. Potential carbon storage was estimated using 3 allometric equations, log Y = -0.762 + 2.51 log D (Maulana dan Pandu 2010), log Y = -0.8406 + 2.572 log D (Maulana dan Pandu 2011) and result of destructive research by Anggono (2014) log Y = -1.101 + 2.262 log D. Carbon storage is obtained by converting 0.47 of the biomass. Potential carbon stored by Maulana dan Pandu (2010) at 310.46 ton/ha, Maulana dan Pandu (2011) at 330.42 ton/ha and Anggono (2014) at 222.43 ton/ha. According to the third equations used contains the highest carbon storage at the trees. The best allometric equation is which its value approach actual. Allometric equation of Anggono (2014) is the best carbon storage equations for its area. IUPHHK-HA PT. WMT-II as a whole capable of storing carbon at 37.63 G ton.en
