Indramayu Regency has a great potential in renewable fisheries. It is expected that this fisheries subsector continues to grow and become a strategic subsector in Indramayu regional development. The objectives of this research were: (1) to identify the role of the fisheries subsector in the economy of the region and its links with other sectors in Indramayu regency, (2) to learn about the level of development of the regional development of fisheries subsector in Indramayu Regency based on the conditions of facilities and infrastructure, and (3) to find out the perception of stakeholders in determining development priorities for the fisheries subsector as well as to formulate a strategic direction in the development of the fisheries subsector in Indramayu regency. The analysis methods used were of Input-Output (I-O) analysis, hierarchical analysis of regional development (Skalogram Method), Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), and the combination of AHP and SWOT analysis (A'WOT). Based on the analysis, the fisheries subsector had a relatively low sectoral relationship. The result of direct forward linkage (DFLi), direct backward linkage (DBLj), Index deployment value (backward linkages effect ratio) and degree of sensitivity index value (forward linkages effect ratio) were below average. The result of multiplier effect output of fisheries, multiplier effect of fisheries gross value added, and multiplier effect of fisheries were revenue relatively low compared to other sectors. The fisheries subsector has the potential to be developed through enhancing linkages between sectors with industry excluding oil/gas sector and wholesale and retail trade sector. Schallogram analysis showed that the districts on hierarchy III were considered feasible to do the development since they were supported by the number of Farmer Households of culture amounting to 2,952 people (68%) of the total 4,344 people and 26,936 Fishermen Households (72%) of the total 37,425 people residing in the coastal area with the value of Human Development Index under 70. The districts in hierarchy III are the districts of Krangkeng, Juntinyuat, Cantigi, Pasekan, Kandanghaur and Patrol. According to the stakeholders, the priority of fisheries subsector development in Indramayu Regency was the development of aquaculture activities (42.04%) in terms of improving the quality of human resources (33.66%). In the development strategy of the fisheries subsector of aquaculture activities in Indramayu regency, priorities should be in the development of existing resources (Natural Resources, Human Resources, Artificial Resource/Infrastructure, Institutional, Technology and Capital) to achieve sustainable development.en
