Analisis Potensi Obyek Wisata dan Keterpaduannya dalam Pengembangan Kawasan Wisata Pangandaran, Kabupaten Pangandaran, Provinsi Jawa Barat

Abstract

Pangandaran has a lot of undiscovered tourist destination. Encouragement to develop Pangandaran as tourism regency appears. Tourism is then prioritized at the long-term, medium-term, and short-term. The purpose of this research was (1) To learn some objects or areas of the existing tourist destinations, (2) To identify to potential regions that potential to be developed as new tourist destination, (3) To know factors affecting the interest of visiting tourists in the tourist area of Pangandaran, and ( 4 ) To compile direction of plans and development strategy of the tourist area of Pangandaran integrally. We utilitized the scoring to find out the existing attractions areas to be developed, binary logistic regression analysis to obtain the factors affecting the interest of tourists, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the analytical of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threaths (SWOT) to generate a tourist area development plan of Pangandaran. Existing tourist attractions are Pangandaran beach with a score of 600, Green Canyon with a score of 344, Batu Karas with a score of 50, Cagar Alam with a score of 30 and Batu Hiu with a score of 25. While the tourism potential to be developed are Citumang is ranked first with a score of 688, Karapyak ranked second with a score of 552, Madasari ranked third with a score of 192. Then Karang Nini was ranked fourth with a score of 184, Lembah Putri ranked fifth with a score of 48, Keusik Luhur ranked sixth with a score of 16, Palatar Agung and Karang Tirta ranked seventh and eighth with a score of 0. Factors affect ing the interest of tourists to visit are preliminary information about tourist attractions, tour guides, hotels, type of tourist destination, and availability of rest area. Integrated and strategies for the development of the tourist area of Pangandaran, are: (1) hold the acceleration of transportation network and repair roads especially national roads, provincial roads, and a connecting entrance to the tourist area; (2) capacity improvement and quality service at the top seed tourist area.
