Climate change are an effect from increase CO2 level in the air which can be reduced by planting green plant that have higher affinity toward CO2 such as bamboo. This research counted how much CO2 absorption using sinusoidal equation at three bamboo species. Sample taken from Bambusa vulgaris, Gigantochloa apus and Gigantochloa robusta leaves that were young, mature, and old respectively. The amount of CO2 absorption by bamboo were comparable to carbohydrate mass formed during the process of photosynthesis which calculated by determining the carbohydrate using Cu-Nelson method. This research showed that the mass value of carbohydrates from three bamboo species exceeds the CO2 absorption from slow growing species and almost close to fast growing species. The three bamboo species can be optioned in climate change reduction efforts caused an increase CO2 level in the air.en
