Manajemen Jejaring Lanskap Ekologis pada Lanskap Kampus Hijau IPB Dramaga, Bogor

Abstract

Dramaga Campus of IPB has a lot of ecosystem resources and landscape types. One of solutions to connect the resources is by managing the ecological network. The objective of this research are to map an ecological network of IPB Dramaga’s green area, to analyze driven factors of ecological network sustainability, and to formulate a management of ecological network. The method in this research are field surveying, ecological networks mapping and respondents interviewing. The data were analyzed by Shannon diversity index, community similarity index, linear regression and SWOT analysis to arrange landscape management strategies. Based on the result, the shape and distance between patches are mostly tangible for increase diversity index. The highest of Shannon diversity index between twelve patches is landscape arboretum with result 2,3 and the smallest is tegakan sengon Rektorat with result 0. Management strategy which can be applied are maintaining the natural ecosystem, involving ecologist in making decisions about campus development, improving the socialization in IPB as green campus, improving a security, conducting regular evaluation, and making signage on natural objects at IPB Campus
