Habitat changes due to past disturbances may affect bird communities in Lambusango forest. This research is aimed at examining bird diversity, and comparing bird composition in several habitats with different disturbance levels. The study shows an increasing number of species, population and diversity index (H') from habitats with low to high disturbance level. Birds in primary and secondary forests have the similarity level of 77%. The composition of specialist birds differs from one habitat to another. Primary forest becomes the habitat of two types of interior birds that can be used as an indicator for undisturbance habitats, those are White-bellied Imperial Pigeon (Ducula forsteni) and Sulawesi Dwarf Kingfisher (Ceyx fallax).
