Katuk leaf meal is considered as herbal medicine since it could improve the milk production in human as well as in animals. It also could increase the egg production as well as poultry performances. It also had been proved to increase vitamin A content in chicken liver and in the egg yolk. Murbei leaf meal also considered as herbal medicine. Some previous studies reported that murbei leaf, from some different species, contain moderate protein (15.7%-22.6%) and vitamin A content (5671-5736 mg%), these ranges were depending upon the different ages when the leaves were harvested and also the species of the murbei leaves. These researchs were conducted to evaluated the used of the two herbal leaves and its combination in the performances of Japanese quails (Coturnix coturnix japonica). The first experiment was to evaluated the effect of usage katuk leaf meal (10%) and mulberry leaf meal (10%) and its combination (5% katuk leaf meal + 5% mulberry leaf meal) in the diet based on rice bran (without yellow corn) on cholesterol, vitamin A, mineral Fe and Zn content in quail’s egg, meat and liver; as well as egg quality and production. The result showed that the lowest cholesterol content in the egg yolk, carcass, liver, were found from the quails fed diet containing the combination of katuk leaves meal and murbei leaves meal (R3). The cholesterol content were 349.606 mg 100g-1, 30.005 mg 100g-1, and 162.151 mg 100g-1 respectively. The content of egg’s vitamin A (336.65 μg 100g-1), meat (186.28 μg 100g-1) and liver (262.86 μg 100g-1); the content of egg’s mineral Fe and Zn (89.88 and 113.04 ppm) and quail’s meat (89.12 and 68.81 ppm) , also egg yolk color score (7.00) were the best resulted from the quails fed diet containing 5% katuk leaf meal+5% mulberry leaf meal. In general the best performances were found to be the best from the quails fed diet containing the combination katuk leaves meal and murbei leaves meal The second experiment was conducted to evaluated the effect of usage katuk leaf meal (10%), mulberry leaf meal (10%) and its combination (5% katuk leaf meal+5% mulberry leaf meal) in the layer quail’s diet that used yellow corn (<50%) to quail’s performances and egg quality. The resulted showed that usage 10% katuk leaf meal in quail’s diet have the same egg production as control diet (without leaf meal), with the highest yolk color score (10.03) and yolk’s vitamin A content (2560.62 mg 100g-1). The quail fed diet with 10% katuk leaf meal reached 5% QD Production faster than other treatment. It was concluded that usage 10% katuk leaf meal and 10% mulberry leaf meal could increased yolk color score and yolk vitaminA content. The third experiment was conducted to evaluate quail’s tibia bone size and mineral content, also the quail’s blood profile, which fed 10% katuk leaf meaal, 10% mulberry leaf meal, or its combination (5% katuk leaf meal+5%mulberry leaf meal). The resulted showed that the bone diametre of quail fed diet with combination 5%katuk leaf meal +5%mulberry leaf meal shorter than other treatment. Bone mineral Ca and P content of quail fed katuk leaf meal, mulberry leaf meal and its combination were lower than quail fed control diet, but Mg and Zn were not different.Quail’s blood profile was not affected by treatment. It was concluded that 10%katuk leaf meal or 10%mulberry leaf meal in layer quail’s diet can be used without affected tibia bone size and blood profile.en
