SIMAK Ilkom untuk Memantau Tugas Akhir Mahasiswa Berbasis Android

Abstract

Currently, the Department of Computer Science has been adopting the web-based academic administration system (SIMAK) to monitor the students’ final project. The purpose of SIMAK is to facilitate the communication between supervisor and student in completing the final project as well as recording the supervising process and the literatures used. To add the functionality of SIMAK, this research developed Android-based SIMAK application. The application was developed using Java and XML programming languages, as well as the clientserver system with SMS gateway. The research showed that SMS gateway can be applied on Android-based SIMAK.
