Evaluasi Lanskap Sejarah Kerajaan Gowa-Tallo sebagai Upaya Melestarikan Nilai-Nilai Sejarah dan Budaya Makassar

Abstract

Gowa-Tallo kingdom is part of South Sulawesi’s history that having many relics. However, not all such relics are managed properly. Spreading relics make historical landscape not yet interpretated well. Therefore, this study was conducted to identify the scope and characterised of historical landscape, evaluate the historical landscape by analyze the factors that influence the sustainability and significance value of historical landscape, and propose strategies of historical landscape management of Gowa-Tallo kingdom. This study used survey method, histories searching, interview, questionnaire, and descriptive and spatial analyze. As a result of study, there were twenty three relics of Gowa-Tallo kingdom that were spread in Makassar, Gowa, and Takalar. After significance value analyze of historical landscape, there were six relics with high value, five relics with medium value, and twelve relics with low value. Analyzing the factors that influence the sustainability of landscape is by using SWOT methode based on the result of significance value analyze, manager, public, and visitors perception. Finally, historical landscape management of Gowa-Tallo kingdom is prioritising to make delineation of historical landscape and make an ideal preservation by relics management (redocumented the relics, basic concept of preserve, preservation zoning, staff management, increase controlling) and landscape tourism management (tourism activities management and tourism facilities management).
