dc.description.abstractSolid polymer electrolyte can be classified as a solid material that has the ability to conduct electric current by the movement of ions and has the same functions as an electrolyte solution. Polymer electrolyte film based on chitosan/PEG+KCl have been produced. The process of making is done by mixing a solution of acetid acid with chitosan, PEG and Potassium Chloride (KCl), polymer electrolyte were obtained by the casting technique. Polymer electrolyte with good ionic conductivity properties were characterized by FTIR analysis for the identification of the functional group. The results of FTIR analysis indicates that complexes of polymer electrolyte have formed. The best ionic conductivity values of 5.786 x 10-6 Scm-1 were obtained for the sample containing 45%wt of KCl. Activation energy obtained by using Arrhenius plot, activation energy from polymer electrolyte film with good conductivity is 0.270 eV.en
