| dc.description.abstract | Application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing can be developed for the management in an attempt to handle of natural disasters such as landslides in the area within a watershed. The purpose of this study was to obtain a distribution map of hazard level of landslides and its risk as a result of landslides at upper Cisadane Sub watershed, using GIS technologies. The results of the analysis showed that areas with high susceptible, medium, low of landslide covered approximately 8539.83 Ha (21.89%), 26243.56 Ha (67.27%) and 4226.84 Ha (10.83%), respectively. Meanwhile, the risk of landslides analysis depicted that in general the upper Cisadane Sub watershed were mostly included as low risk of landslides disaster. It was very unfortunate, that some areas designated as residential zone within spatial plan were situated on areas with a high susceptible of landslides disasters. This was not accordance with the principle of spatial planning. | en |
