dc.description.abstractIn order to enhance practical approach on clinical diagnostic of subclinical mastitis, 72 dairy cattle at KPBSU Lembang Bandung District were addressed for this research. The objective of this research was to study the correlation of teat formation within several lactation periods to subclinical mastitis profile. The data of lactation period was collected from the farmer interview. Subclinical mastitis was tested using IPB-1 Mastitis Test and the length of teat was measured using measuring tape (cm). The data were taken then analyzed by Duncan test and Logistic regression. The highest correlation of subclinical mastitis, which also the most severe cased, was happened to dairy cattle with average teat length of 7.5 cm within the third and fourth lactation periods This result was accentuated that the teat length of dairy cattle in certain lactation period was subclinical mastitis predisposition. This finding was important for improving the milking management as well as clinical diagnosing of mastitis.en
