Dengue fever is a disease which is transmited to human by Aedes aegypti. The vector extermination is expected to prevent the spread out of the disease. Tectoquinone is a chemical component of teak wood extractives which has larvicidal activity. The objective of this research was to examine the effectivity of teak wood extract and meal as biolarvicidal against fourth-instar larvae of A. aegypti. The results showed that teak wood extract and meal were effectively play as a biolarvicide against A. aegypti larvae. Based on this research, LC50 and LC90 of extract containing active compound 2-methylanthraquinone were 7.99 μg/ml and 11.87 μg/ml, respectively. It was also found that LC50 and LC90 of wood meal were 849.30 μg/ml and 1,051.10 μg/ml, respectively. It seems that teak wood extract was more toxic rather than wood meal
