Potensi Reduksi Emisi Karbon Melalui Pengelolaan Hutan Alam Produksi (Studi Kasus di IUPHHK PT. Sarmiento Parakantja Timber, Kalimantan Tengah)
Abstract
One of requirements increase carbon stocks, carbon absorption, and prevent the emission of CO2 in the forest with sustainable forest management. Sustainable forest management such as make permanent sample plots (PSPs) for monitoring the standing stock. PSPs on the planted area of 0,5 ha and planted three kinds of family Diptero. Shorea parvifolia, S. leprosula, and S. johorensis. Total average diameter increment in planted path of 1,29 cm/yr and the average volume increment of 5,69 m³/ha/yr. PSPs on the line between has an average volume increment in family Diptero. diameter > 20 cm of 3,56 m³/ha/yr , less than the average volume increment family non Diptero. Diameter > 20 cm of 3,96 m³/ha/yr. Calculation of carbon stocks and carbon emissions are simulated for 30 years using three schemas. Scheme 1 has a stock of carbon 12.395.834 tC and the level of carbon emissions-1.777.171 tCO2e. Scheme 2 has a stock of carbon 11.863.143 tC and the level of carbon emissions 525.612 tCO2e. Scheme 3 has amount of the largest carbon stock is 12.736.279 tC and the smallest of -2.851.756 tCO2e. Scheme 3 is more feasible to be applied in the opening of forest areas.
