dc.description.abstract | One of the problems that frequently arises in the hospital management system is the nurse scheduling problem. A proper schedule is needed in order to avoid exhausted suffered by nurses, both physically and psychologically, which subsequently may deteriorate their performance. In this work, nurse scheduling problem is modeled as preemptive and nonpreemptive goal programming. The objective is to minimize deviations caused by constraints posed by hospital management and nurses themself. The optimization problem is then applied to nurse scheduling at Hasanah Graha Afiah Hospital Depok. | en |
