| dc.description.abstract | Modelling is a relevant tool to monitor broiler rearing condition in integrated view. The aim of this study is to develop the simulation model of broiler growth realated to its interaction with micro-climate condition. Broiler growth model was simulated in relation with energy balance from feed that was intaked till its excreted. This simulation model can predict broiler live weight and feed intake variables. This model was validated using ideal and non ideal micro-climate condition as model inputs. Validation result show MRPE < 25%, means that this model accurate enough tobe used in another broiler growth simulation. This paper gives two simulation sample, it is simulation to see the effect of heat stress, and cold stress on broiler performance; and simulation to determine the best harvesting time. Based on feed convertion ratio (FCR) curve from first simulation, broiler that kept under effective temperature 34 oC (heat stress) has better feed efficiency than broiler that kept under Tef 10 oC (cold stress | en |
