Policy Srategic of Sustainable Forest Management In Lampung Barat District

Abstract

Thingking about Policy Strategic, we have to many aspect :ecologic, economic, social and culture and conflik of interest. It is important to have a detail research for forest management for welfare of people of Lampung Barat District. The aims of research were to mapping region problem core, calculating the balancing or equilibrium between ecologic aspec with economic , social and culture aspect. Make perfec and fair equilibrium. determining mechanism, strategy and program of forest management for peoples welfare one side and the other side is many people not west lampung only but province of lampung whole. Desain of research was descriptive analysis with SWOT and AHP (AWOT) , knowing about stengths, weakness, opportunities and threats, and then followed by AHP the meaning give the best forecasting, the best strategy of forest management and finally for welfare. Conclution of research : This research result recommend that strategy of agroforestry and ecotourisme that can be applied in Forestry in West Lampung, then recommend also empowerment bodies namely Kesatuan Pengelola Hutan (KPH).
