| dc.description.abstract | Ecotourism is a purposeful travel to natural areas to understand the culture and natural history of environment, taking care not to alter the integrity of the ecosystem, while producing economics opportunities that make the conservation of natural resources beneficial to local people.The objectives of this research are 1) to evaluate the feasibility of Gunung Pancar landscape as ecotourism area and 2) to arrange (eco)tourism management plan. Research site is located in Gunung Pancar, Bogor District, 106°54’13” EL - 106°54’58” EL and 6°35’30” SL - 6°35’38” SL. The analysis method of Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat (SWOT) is used in this evaluation. The results are 1) Gunung Pancar is not suitable for ecotourism according to the comparation analysis between ecotourism standards and existing and 2) the main strategy obtained from SWOT analysis is to make tourism corridors among tourism objects, good management and to improve cooperation.To support the main strategy is in need of management plan that consists of to add some manajers, to add the number of local labours, to hold some trainings for labours, and a good ticketing | en |
